Hydronic & Radiant Floor Heating in Greater Vancouver
Quiet, even, boiler-powered comfort — radiant in-floor heating, radiators and hydronic zones, installed, upgraded and serviced by licensed, gas-certified technicians since 1999.
Quick answer
Hydronic heating circulates hot water from a boiler through radiators, baseboards or in-floor tubing for quiet, even, draft-free warmth. We install, upgrade and service radiant in-floor heating and hydronic systems across Greater Vancouver — and the high-efficiency combi or system boilers that power them. What is hydronic & radiant heating?
Hydronic heating uses water as the carrier for heat. A boiler warms the water, and pumps circulate it through your home — to radiators, baseboard heaters, or loops of tubing embedded in the floor (radiant in-floor heating). Because it heats objects and surfaces rather than blowing hot air, hydronic heat feels more even and comfortable, with no dust, drafts or fan noise.
Radiant in-floor heating is the most comfortable form: warmth rises gently from the floor, keeping rooms evenly heated from the ground up. It runs efficiently at low water temperatures, which makes it an excellent match for a modern condensing combi or system boiler with weather compensation.
Why choose hydronic heating?
- Quiet, even, draft-free comfort — no blown air or dust
- Efficient at low water temperatures, ideal for condensing boilers
- Easy zoning — heat the rooms you use, when you use them
- Great for in-floor radiant, radiators and baseboards
- Pairs with high-efficiency combi and system boilers
- Long-lasting and low-maintenance when properly installed and serviced
Our hydronic & radiant heating services
The boiler behind your hydronic system
Every hydronic system needs a reliable, correctly-sized heat source. We install and service high-efficiency combi and system boilers from all major brands and size each one to your home's measured heat loss and the temperature your radiant or radiator loops need. Most 95% AFUE condensing models qualify for FortisBC and CleanBC rebates, and we offer flexible financing to spread the cost.
What affects the cost?
- Area covered and whether it's new construction or a retrofit
- Type of system — in-floor radiant, radiators or baseboards
- The boiler and number of heating zones
- Manifolds, mixing valves, pumps and controls
- Any re-piping, flushing or boiler upgrade needed
This is not a DIY repair
Combi boilers are gas-fired appliances regulated under the BC Safety Standards Act. Opening the unit, touching the gas valve, or working on the flue without a valid BC gas-fitter licence is both unsafe and illegal. Diagnosing the fault is helpful — fixing it should always be left to a certified technician.
