Complete guide to preparing for your new boiler installation
Before Installation Day
Schedule installation at least 2 weeks in advance
Confirm gas and water access to boiler location
Clear space around current boiler (minimum 2 feet on each side)
Arrange for someone to be home during installation
Locate water shutoff valve before technicians arrive
Remove valuables from installation area

Schedule final inspection if required by local code

Technicians arrive and assess site
8:00 AM - 9:00 AM
Remove old boiler and disconnect lines

Install new boiler, connect gas/water/venting

System testing and pressure checks
2:00 PM - 2:30 PM
Final walkthrough and controls training
